These pyramidal chedis are monuments honoring the dead in a Buddhist cemetery in Bang Krajao, Thailand. Most Thai funerals end in a cremation ceremony, after which the ashes are either scattered or interred in one of these monuments. Relatives bring incense and flower garlands to honor and remember their loved ones.
